Napoli facing battle to keep star man as rivals line up bids

- Jorginho is set to find out this week if the club are willing to sell him this summer and for how much, and City are waiting in the wings after switching transfer targets. City boss Pep Guardiola is reported to have dropped all interest in Shakhtar Donetsk ace Fred and has now made Jorginho his number one target. Reports in Brazil now claim that Guardiola would prefer to sign Jorginho from Napoli and will do all it takes to land his man, although he does face competition. Jorginho is also a target for Manchester United but reports have claimed the Italian international is not a fan of Jose Mourinho’s style of play and will hold out for a move elsewhere, with City in the hunt. Liverpool are also in the hunt as Jorginho remains one of the most in-demand players in Europe this season.
