Barcelona welcomed Villarreal at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points at home. The Catalan outfit made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 31st minute courtesy of Robert Lewandowski’s goal. The Polish striker scored again just four minutes later with a great strike before Ansu Fati put the contest to bed in the 38th minute when he scored from close range. Barca were leading 3-0 at half-time. Xavi’s men sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and earned a comfortable 3-0 win in front of their home fans.
