Nathan Ake leaves pitch on stretcher in major injury concern for Manchetser City

Netherlands defender Nathan Ake was stretchered off the field in their Nations League clash against Germany.

Ake looked to be in serious pain as he was helped to the ground by Dutch teammate Cody Gakpo and Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

The Netherlands’ medical staff was immediately summoned onto the field and removed Ake from the field on a stretcher.

The nature of Ake's injury isn't clear, however, it puts his availability for City's Premier League clash against Brentford on Saturday in doubt.
