West Ham one of three Premier League clubs eyeing up shock loan move for Ousmane Dembele

Ousmane Dembele is being monitored by three Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
The forward signed for Paris Saint-Germain this summer for £50m, but has failed to register any goal contributions despite playing all five of the Ligue 1 champions’ games since he arrived.
Some PSG fans have called for Dembele to be dropped following his slow start.
As a result, a host of Premier League sides are eyeing up a potential loan swoop for the 26-year-old, according to The Mirror.
Despite West Ham having a strong start to the season and their attacking threat being nicely boosted by summer signing James Ward-Prowse, the Hammers are one of the club’s interested in Dembele.
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are also both keen on the France international.
The Gunners recruited well this summer but failed to bolster their attacking options and would benefit from cover for Bukayo Saka.
Tottenham did not replace the club’s all-time record scorer Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich this summer, opting to land Brennan Johnson, a winger, instead.
But despite the interest from England’s top flight and Dembele yet to get off the mark, PSG’s manager Luis Enrique has confidence his striker can find form.
"If I were a supporter of a team, I would pay to see Ousmane Dembele,” Enrique said ahead of PSG’s game against Marseille. "He's a totally different player. He is unpredictable, overflows, [and] works magic.
"It's true that he may have missed things and didn't score his first goal, but the day that happens, I'm sure he'll score a lot later. This happens to all attackers.
“It's wonderful for a coach to have a player of this quality and level available."
Dembele netted 40 goals and registered 43 assists in 185 appearances for Barcelona before his move to Paris this summer.
He’s also earned 39 caps for France since 2016, scoring four in that time.
