'Chelsea have just agreed £10m' off-pitch deal after recent termination - top source

Chelsea have returned to the fight for Champions League football this term after two seasons in the wilderness following the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital takeover.
The Blues have spent heavily on new recruits since the buyout and are now one of the leading destinations for top young talent in world football.
Enzo Maresca’s side sit fourth in the Premier League ahead of their clash with Brighton on Friday night (14 February).
Chelsea’s revenue dropped to £455million from £512.5million last season with the club not involved in any European competition.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – lifted the lid on Chelsea agreeing an off-pitch deal worth “£8-10million per season”.
Chelsea get £8-10m boost after ‘financial issues’
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness has praised the Blues’ new agreement with Live Nation.
Ticketmaster’s parent company are the club’s new shirt sleeve sponsor after the termination of Fever – also a ticketing company – due to financial issues late last year.
Wyness previously hit out at Chelsea for failing to sign up a front-of-shirt sponsor for this season, claiming it could cost the club £100million.
He told Football Insider's Insider Track podcast: "I'd think a deal like this with Live Nation is worth between £8-10million per season for a sleeve side.
"One of the reasons why these sponsors are popular is because it's easy to change, as they have in this case. It's a patch, rather than a shirt printed with a main sponsor on the front.
"This deal will go well for Chelsea."
Chelsea chase deal for Ipswich star Delap
On the pitch, Man United and Chelsea are keen on Ipswich Town star Liam Delap – who has impressed in his first Premier League campaign.
He has hit nine goals and notched two assists in 25 games across all competitions for Ipswich this term.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (12 February) that Man City are unlikely to activate their buy-back clause for Delap this summer.
