Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford shared an upbeat new message on social media, sparking a deluge of reactions from both teammates and rivals.

Burnley faced Preston North End on 15 February in the Championship and ended in a goalless draw, securing yet another clean sheet for Trafford this season.

Scott Parker's side have now recorded a remarkable 11 consecutive clean sheets, setting a new league record.

Co-owner JJ Watt jokingly commented on Trafford's achievement, saying he would consider returning to American football if the goalkeeper manages to go the rest of the season without conceding another goal.

Despite the frustration of dropping points against Preston, Trafford remained in good spirits, reflecting positively on the month as a whole in his latest social media post.

James Trafford entertains teammates with latest Burnley post

The Burnley goalkeeper took to Instagram to share a collage of photos with the caption: "Here for the vibes."

His post sparked reactions from teammates, with CJ Egan-Riley saying, "Surely this was meant to be posted on the private" while Jaidon Anthony added, "A lot of vibes in here."

Among others who reacted were Liverpool's Conor Bradley and Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier, both of whom liked the post.

The former Man City shot-stopper has been enjoying an outstanding season under Parker. His impressive performances saw him named Championship Player of the Month for January after going the entire month without conceding—a streak that has continued into February.

Tottenham ‘keen on James Trafford’

His form has also attracted attention from Premier League clubs. Tottenham were reportedly interested in signing Trafford during the January transfer window, but their move cooled after securing Antonin Kinsky instead.

Trafford's record-breaking clean sheet streak has been one of Burnley's standout positives, though the team has drawn three of their last six matches. The 22-year-old has been a key figure this season, starting 32 games and conceding just 23 goals.

Despite the lighthearted nature of his post, Parker's side will be eager to move past their latest result as they continue their push for promotion.

However, controversy from the match could spill over into the coming days, as former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has suggested the FA will investigate an incident involving Hannibal Mejbri and Milutin Osmajic.

Burnley's goalless draw leaves them in third place on 65 points, trailing league leaders Sheffield United, who extended their lead to 70 points with a win over Luton Town. They also sit four points behind Leeds who face Sunderland in their game in hand.
