Leeds defender Pascal Struijk took to social media to send a message to the fans after their impressive 4-0 Championship win over Watford on Tuesday (February 11).
The 25-year-old came on as a late substitute as Daniel Farke’s side went five points clear at the top of the Championship table.
Daniel James opened the scoring after just 20 minutes thanks to a miscommunication while playing out the back from the home side, before bagging his brace eight minutes later.
Manor Solomon got in on the act to score the West Yorkshire club’s third, making sure to send an ‘important’ message to the fans after the game.
Joel Piroe rounded off the scoring in the 65th minute, securing all three points for Leeds in the race for promotion back to the Premier League.

The Dutchman seemingly remains a key player for Farke despite not featuring against Watford, starting 26 of his 30 games across all competitions, popping up with three goals, and providing zero assists in his 2358 minutes of action.
Struijk took to Instagram after the comfortable win over Watford to celebrate despite not being a starter, simply saying: “+3 points.”
Leeds will doubtless be hoping to continue their promotion charge on Monday (February 17) as they take on fellow challengers Sunderland.
Farke's side will then face second-placed Sheffield United in what could prove to be an early title decider for either club.
