Report: Tottenham eye swap deal for £25m Newcastle target, Lo Celso or Sanchez included

Italian outlet CMW claim that Antonio Conte wants to raid old side Inter Milan for Turkey playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu this summer – and Spurs are ready to include either Davinson Sanchez or Giovani Lo Celso in a deal.

Calhanoglu, 28, enjoyed another superb season with the Nerrazzuri last season – but failed to give Inter enough as his old side Milan won the Scudetto. It comes after joining Inter from Milan summer.

He produced 21 goal involvements in his 46 appearances – scoring eight and creating 13 more. Calhanoglu joined Inter about a month after Conte had left the club, only days after winning the Scudetto himself in 20-21.

Reports earlier this month state that Newcastle are considering a move for Calhanoglu. However, it appears that Spurs are now ready to move for the playmaker – and are willing to include Lo Celso or Sanchez in a deal.

Conte wants Calhanoglu: Tottenham ready to include Sanchez or Lo Celso

Calhanoglu would be a wonderful signing – with Spurs now seemingly set to miss out on Christian Eriksen after cooling their interest. Especially, if Spurs can offload one of their fringe players at the same time.

Lo Celso has no future at Spurs after being loaned to Villarreal in January. A move to Inter would be a superb one for him, teaming up with Lautaro Martinez – his Argentine teammate. He is also the same position as Calhanoglu.

But Inter might also want to consider Sanchez given Milan Skriniar is edging closer to joining PSG. Both players are likely to be rated in the region of £20million – so it would only take another £6million if a deal is engineered.
