Ex-Rangers youth set to snub Man United for Premier League rivals, claims journalist

Ex-Rangers youth and Derby County winger Malcolm Ebiowei will snub a move to Man United in favour of a switch to Crystal Palace. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who made the claim on Twitter following weeks of conjecture regarding the out-of-contract 18-year-old’s future. The move comes after weeks of links between Man United, Palace and Ebiowei, who impressed after breaking into the the Derby County team last season. The winger made 16 appearances for the Rams last season as they suffered relegation to English League One amid financial issues and docked points. Reports last week had suggested that both United and Palace were leading the pack for Malcolm Ebiowei, with interest also from Ligue 1. Rangers might well rue letting the youngster leave after only one season and now Ibrox fans will be thinking what might’ve been as the youngster heads towards the Premier League.
