The Colombian has had injury problems, and, as noted by Marca, has not played for weeks.

Now, of course, we know the quality that James has, but he is 31 now and it could take him a while to get his rhythm back.

Moreover, we saw when the former Real Madrid star was at Everton that he lacked consistency.

While James started his Everton tenure strongly, he had injury problems and eventually fizzled out before the Toffees offloaded him to Al-Rayyan in September 2021.

During his time at Everton, the Colombian scored six goals and created 11 big chances in 23 Premier League matches.
