'This time': Ange Postecoglou reveals what Tottenham are doing differently with Richarlison after his latest injury

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has admitted he’s looking forward to the return of Brazilian striker Richarlison but has admitted the club has had to adapt for his recovery this time.
Richarlison has suffered a number of different injury problems since signing for more than £50m from Everton.
On the whole, Richarlison’s time with the club has been disappointing and a lack of goals alongside those injuries has been frustrating for all.
However, Ange Postecoglou is a big fan of the Brazilian number nine.
And despite signing Dominic Solanke, Richarlison seems to have a big part to play under the Aussie.
But right now, Postecoglou is focussed on ‘Richy’ just getting fit and the Tottenham boss has admitted that a different approach has been taken this time by the club.
What Tottenham are doing differently to get Richarlison fit
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph ahead of this weekend’s clash with Brighton, Postecoglou admitted that the club has taken a different route with Richarlison and his fitness this time.
"I can't wait to get Richy back available. When he played for us last year and he was fit, he scored goals,” Postecoglou said.
“For me to have the ability to have him and Dom (Solanke) as our strikers, and Richy can play wide as well, but especially in that central area, yeah can't wait to have him back.
"At the same time his recent history of the last two or three years is he hasn't been able to sustain it and he's kind of broken down.
“What we've tried to do this time around is do everything right with everything we do with him, so when he comes back, he stays back."
Richarlison can be key for top four push
Despite the obvious frustrations with Richarlison, he is a Brazilian international striker and with that, he can contribute to this Tottenham side.
As Ange says here, it is imperative that he stays fit and manages to keep himself around the first-team and in the manager’s plans.
The goals will come eventually but for now, Richarlison just needs to get playing and keep playing.
From there, Tottenham can build around him and Solanke and hopefully, for their fans anyway, seal that top four spot.
