Fulham are also hoping to tempt Sevilla star Lucas Ocampos

Argentine Ocampos, who will cost around £13m, is deciding if he wants to join the Cottagers with a deal between clubs agreed.

Fulham are keen to bolster their attacking options following the £46million departure of striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal this summer.

Iwobi has been among Everton's stand-out performers in the last 18 months but the recent additions of Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison appear to have opened the door to an exit, if Fulham submit an offer for the Nigerian.

The former Arsenal star has netted nine goals for Everton across 140 appearances but played a key role in helping the club avoid the threat of relegation for the past two seasons.

Meanwhile, Fulham are hoping to make best use of the money recouped for Mitrovic and have until Friday to add new faces.

After a quiet start to the transfer window, it is shaping up to be a busy week for Marco Silva, who tied up the signing of Leicester City's Timothy Castagne on Tuesday.

The Cottagers had previously completed the signings of Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore this summer.

But a mixed start to the season has reinforced the need to strengthen in key areas following a win over Everton, a 3-0 defeat to Brentford and Saturday's 2-2 draw at Arsenal.
