Liverpool are bracing for a fresh approach from Saudi Arabia for Mohamed Salah, talkSPORT understands.

The Egyptian star is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at Anfield and has been heavily targeted by clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

The 31-year-old was the subject of an offer worth £150million last summer, with Al Ittihad heavily linked as they look to convince Karim Benzema to stick around at the club.

Al Hilal, who boast Brazil superstar Neymar in their ranks, are also interested, with Salah likely to be the subject of an offer worth in excess of £70million this summer, due to the star 12 months closer to the end of his contract.

Salah is settled on Merseyside and is in no major rush to leave the Reds.

It’s understood that Salah is yet to decide on his future and could yet stay with Liverpool next season.

That decision could hinge on Liverpool’s pursuit of a new manager, with Jurgen Klopp set to leave the club this summer.

Salah isn’t the only Premier League star who will be targeted by clubs in Saudi Arabia though.

Kevin De Bruyne is a top target, which Manchester United duo Casemiro and Raphael Varane could also be targeted.

But despite targeting such marquee signings, it’s thought that clubs in Saudi Arabia don’t expect to be as prolific in bringing in big-money new signings as they were last term.

They will, however, aim to bring in five or six marquee arrivals as they continue to boost the profile of the league.

This comes after the high-profile signings of stars including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino over the last 18 months.
