Tottenham have been celebrating all week and paying tribute to Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean forward has joined their 400-club with his appearance in their 1-1 draw with London rivals West Ham.

Spurs have been producing plenty of wholesome content as he joins an elite group of 14 to have donned the Lilywhite in so many matches.

And they brought many fans to the brink of tears as a host of former teammates gave their messages of congratulation to Son.

A number of Tottenham heroes who came so close to winning the Champions League in 2019 sent in their best wishes.

First up in the video was, of course, Harry Kane, with whom Son combined for 47 goals – a Premier League record.

He said: “Just wanted to reach out and congratulate you on 400 appearances for Spurs. Incredible achievement, mate.

“Obviously been lucky enough to spend a lot of those appearances with you. It’s been a privilege.

“Great guy. Great footballer. Keep it going, mate. I’m watching you every week. Keep smashing it. Keep scoring the goals. And I hope to see you soon.”

Dele Alli then appeared in the clip before Hugo Lloris, from whom Son inherited the captain’s armband.

Eric Dier turned up too, proclaiming: ‘Heung-Min, my son’, ahead of Christian Eriksen, and Jan Vertonghen, who reminisced about his assist for Son’s Puskas Award-winning goal against Burnley.

But the last ex-Tottenham star to appear in the video left some supporters stunned.

Austria international Kevin Wimmer popped up having been one of Son’s best friends early on in his Spurs career.

The pair were often spotted together before the centre-back’s £18million transfer to Stoke City.

Now with Slovan Bratislava, he said: “Hi, Sonny. It’s Kevin your Austrian brother.

“First of all I want to say many congratulations to you for 400 appearances for Spurs. That’s an amazing number for such a big club.

“I’m really happy for you and proud of you. And of course I can still call you one of my best friends.

“I wish you all the best, hopefully for the next 400 games for Tottenham. All the best, my brother. See you soon. Love you.”

And fans loved seeing the 31-year-old back on their screens, despite their initial shock.

One posted: “Bro this makes me miss our old team so much. They even got Wimmer to say something.”

A second added: “That's true that Kevin Wimmer’s always had a strong connection with Son.”

“THEY EVEN GOT KEVIN WIMMER OH MY GODDDD,” said another.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “So glad they got Wimmer in for this too.”
