Zito: My players on the verge of breaking down

Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito revealed his players are in dire need of a break after their FA Cup title defence came to an end against Bofoakwe Tano on Sunday.
Still Believe made their debut in the CAF Confederation Cup this season after winning the domestic cup title for the first time in their history last term.
Zito’s side defied expectations by reaching the semi-finals of Africa’s second-tier club competition, where they succumbed to a 3-0 aggregate defeat to Zamalek.
The Accra outfit find themselves in the relegation zone with one month left in the campaign, although they have four games in hand on most of the other clubs.
However, Zito admits his squad are running on empty due to a gruelling schedule which has seen them play 43 games already across all competitions in 2023-24.
“My boys have had enough for the year. Seriously, they’ve had enough and I think we will do our best to maintain ourself in the league and then we give them a long break or else we will break down,” he said.
