Arteta to make 3 changes, 'quality' ace to start: Arsenal predicted line-up vs Man City

As Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal prepare to lock horns against Pep Guardiola’s Man City in the FA Cup 4th Round encounter, we have called the Premier League leaders’ predicted lineup.

The Gunners, who were eliminated out of the Carabao Cup will be hoping to get one up over the champions of England.

Considering the two title contenders are set to face each other in a pair of decisive clashes in the league, a potential victory could hand the North Londoners a significant psychological edge over their opponents.

Despite Matt Turner often playing in cup competitions, Aaron Ramsdale retains his place in our Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City, as his presence would be key to allow even a rotated side play their signature brand of football.

At right-back, Ben White could be replaced by Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has not featured as much as he would have liked to this season due to the Englishman being in cracking form.

The centre-back may remain unchanged from the Gunners’ win over Manchester United, with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes starting proceedings.

At left-back, Kieran Tierneycould be handed a rare start to hand Oleksandr Zinchenko a precautionary rest after his tireless display against United, in our Arsenal predicted lineup vs Man City.

The midfield 3 of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard is expected to be fielded against the Sky Blues on Friday.

Since Gabriel Martinelli has not been at his brilliant best since the return of club football, this contest could be the perfect opportunity to give Leandro Trossard, whose ‘quality’ against United was praised by Odegaard a full start.
