How will Everton line-up at Luton in a rare Friday night fixture?

Had last week not gone so well for the Blues, this could have been a season-defining fixture.

And it still is… for Luton Town. For Everton, this is almost a dead-rubber. And to have a dead-rubber with three games left to play is an absolute relief after the previous two seasons.

So with the pressure off, how will Sean Dyche line up his Mighty Blues of Everton?

Who's Out?

Beto is available to play after suffering his nasty knockout against Forest nearly two weeks ago.

Seamus Coleman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have also been training this week and could be available if there is no reaction to their recent injury niggles.

Lewis Dobbin is nearing a return having featured for the under-21s on Monday, but Dyche hinted he'd like him to play more minutes with the youth side before returning to full action.

Vitaliy Mykolenko, Nathan Patterson and Dele will miss the remainder of the season.

Tactics and Formation

Although it would be nice to see Everton open up a bit and try to play more expansively to close out the season, it's also hard to turn your back on a three-game winning streak.

Therefore, I'm only expecting one change to the side that beat Brentford, with Beto the most likely contender to replace Youssef Chermiti up front.

Elsewhere it's hard to envision any changes, unless Seamus Coleman makes a return to the side, or Amadou Onana or Andre Gomes slot into midfield.

I'd personally love to see Lewis Warrington get some real minutes under his belt to end the season to see whether he has what it takes to potential to fight for a first-team place next season. Likewise with Jenson Metcalfe, although he's still just 19 and yet to have seen any senior football.
