Nottingham Forest have now shared how much they value five key players at – as Evangelos Marinakis targets huge profits in the event of any sales this summer.

Despite a few strange signings – such as Andre Ayew and Jonjo Shelvey – the Garibaldi have largely recruited well, making a number of wise investments which have now rocketed in value.

So, how much will Evangelos Marinakis demand for five of Nottingham Forest‘s finest? Let’s take a look…

Nottingham Forest send message to transfer vultures

After impressive showings from the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 2023/24 campaign, Premier League rivals are showing interest.

The Guardian believe Tottenham want to sign the latter after a strong finish to last season, which saw the England international net three goals in his last three Premier League appearances.

A story by Give Me Sport adds that Newcastle are considering a £60m move for Gibbs-White.

If that is true, the Magpies will need to increase that potential bid.

According to The Sun, Nottingham Forest value Gibbs-White at £70m, and also consider Murillo to be a £70m footballer as well.

Furthermore, it is said that Hudson-Odoi is deemed to be worth £30m by those at the City Ground, while Danilo and Anthony Elanga are valued at £35m each.

That equates to a total of £240m for five players, which would represent huge profit based on what Nottingham Forest initially spent.

TOTAL: £74m

Time for stability

Of course, Nottingham Forest may need to sell one of these key men due to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

However, it is imperative that Marinakis keeps the bulk of this current squad together, as there has been far too much turnover since Steve Cooper achieved promotion to the Premier League.

You will get nowhere in football if key aspects continue to change every season – such as the playing staff and coaches – so hopefully, things settle down a bit at the City Ground this summer after some chaotic developments in the past two years.
