Tonight sees the final Euro 2024 spots awarded, whilst other nations are in preparation mode for the championships, playing their last internationals before June, and there also remains a lot to play for in the closing stages of the National League.

1. Ukraine to beat Iceland at ‘home’ (Tue, 7:45pm)

Ukraine head into their Euro 2024 play-off final as strong favourites to get the better of Iceland, which would see them qualify for their fourth consecutive European championships.

The match will be played in Poland but the large majority of the neutral fans will be supporting the Ukrainians, who have lost just one of their last nine games in all competitions, and haven’t lost at home since 2020 despite playing home games in neutral locations since in the last two years.

Iceland finished down in fourth in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, losing four of their five matches away from home and winning only three of the 10 qualifiers they played.

2. England to beat Belgium at home (Tue, 7:45pm)

England are strong favourites for victory tonight against an ageing Belgian side, and the Three Lions will be fired up to deliver a victory in front of their home fans this month following their defeat to Brazil on Saturday.

Belgium were held to a goalless draw in Dublin against an Ireland side who failed to qualify for Euro 2024 last week, and with the majority of their golden generation of last decade either injured, past their prime or retired, England will be confident of delivering a win.

3. Scotland to beat Northern Ireland at home (Tue, 7:45pm)

Scotland will be desperate for victory against their near neighbours tonight having endured a tough run of results against strong opposition in recent matches, falling to defeat against England, Spain, France and the Netherlands in their last six games.

Steve Clarke’s side will welcome slightly less high-brow opposition on Tuesday in a bid to get back to winning ways in their final match before their squad for the Euros gets named.

Northern Ireland make the trip to Glasgow having failed to qualify for the Euros, finishing second bottom of their qualifying group ahead of only San Marino, and having lost seven of their last 10 matches.

4. Altrincham to beat Wealdstone at home (Tue, 7:45pm)

Altrincham are looking to to build on their recent record of having won two of their last three games and three of their last five in a bid to climb back into the play-off places in the National League as they look to return to the Football League for the first time ever.

They take on a Wealdstone side loitering three points above the drop zone and with just two wins in their last 11 matches.
