Report: Aston Villa lead the way for 'magic' 21-year-old likened to Lionel Messi; could be theirs for just £34m

Aston Villa have enjoyed an amazing season under Unai Emery that could well lead to their first major trophy since 1982.
The Villans are in the Europa Conference League semi-finals and are also in the driver’s seat to finish in the Premier League’s top four.
Villa will likely be busy in the summer transfer window as Emery looks to bolster his squad’s quality and strength in depth to kick on even further.
The Emery project is heading in the right direction and there's certainly scope to bring in more top talents in the summer.
One report from Italy has now claimed that Villa are the Premier League club most interested in a talent who has been compared to Lionel Messi.
Better still, he could be theirs for less than £35million.
The player in question is Juventus loanee Matias Soule, who has been impressing for Frosinone in Serie A.
According to Tuttosport, via Tuttomercatoweb, the Argentine is ‘being courted by the Premier League, in particular Aston Villa, who will be called to replace Nicolo Zaniolo’.
However, the Villans aren’t the only club pursuing Soule. The likes of Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Brentford are also said to be eyeing the 21-year-old.
The report also claims that Juve could be tempted by an offer of €40million, or around £34million, for their player.
Who is Aston Villa target Matias Soule?
Not only are Villa going from strength to strength on the pitch, but they have shown to the football world that they have serious pull in the transfer market.
The Villans pulled off several coups in recent years. For instance, they signed highly sought-after players like Moussa Diaby and Pau Torres last summer.
With that in mind, the Villans will certainly fancy their chances of bringing Soule to Villa Park this summer.
The Argentine talent has impressed on loan at Frosinone, bagging 11 goals and three assists from 32 Serie A outings this term.
Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout previously described the reported Villa target as a 'Messi-esque' talent who 'can really produce magic'.
Meanwhile, Claudio Ranieri has been quoted by Tuttomercatoweb as saying: "When you have champions like Soule who shoot like Maradona or Zico, you just have to applaud him."
