Ipswich Town, Portsmouth, Peterborough United and Mansfield Town are all keen on Altrincham star Chris Conn-Clarke, according to Football Transfers.

Ipswich Town are heading for the Premier League and this summer will be spent preparing for the big step up. Portsmouth and Mansfield Town are on the rise too, winning promotion to the Championship and League One respectively while Posh will remain in the third-tier.

Given the differing divisions they find themselves in, few would have seen the clubs’ transfer targets crossing over.

However, as per a report from Football Transfers, all four sides have set sights on Chris Conn-Clarke.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has enjoyed a stunning campaign in the National League with Altrincham, registering 23 goals and 12 assists across all competitions. As such, he’s on the radars of Ipswich Town, Portsmouth, Peterborough United and Mansfield Town this summer.

It is added that while two years remain on his contract at Alty, the expectation is that he will head for pastures new after such a strong season in non-league.
