Strong squad depth: Charlton Athletic team news and predicted XI to face Fleetwood Town

The latest Charlton Athletic team news as Nathan Jones’ side gear up to face Fleetwood Town in League One.

Charlton Athletic are in decent form as they prepare for their upcoming League One clash.

The Addicks have risen away from danger and are sat in 15th place in the table.

They won 3-2 at home to Carlisle United last time out to keep their momentum going.

As per the official club website, defender Lloyd Jones has trained this week. Full-back Kayne Ramsay and attacker Miles Leaburn remain out of action, whilst striker Chuks Aneke is also a doubt.

Jones has opted for Harry Isted as his number one since taking over at The Valley ahead of Ashley Maynard-Brewer.

Tennai Watson and Thierry Small are expected to remain in the side as the full-backs. The latter has impressed since his move earlier this winter after leaving Southampton.

The centre-back trio of Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Terell Thomas and Macauley Gillesphey could stay the same, although Michael Hector and Jones are available again now.

In midfield, Karoy Anderson, George Dobson and January recruit Conor Coventry have all been in decent form. Tyreeq Bakinson provides back-up from the bench in the middle of the park.

Charlton have a few different options to pick from in attack but I think they will go for Alfie May and Dan Kanu again. Freddie Ladapo and Connor Wickham will be pushing for a start too.
