Wind has played for Bowers & Pitsea and Colchester United in the past.

He was allowed to head out the exit door on a permanent basis from the latter when Billericay came calling and hasn’t looked back since.

The full-back has been a key player for the Essex outfit over recent campaigns and was handed a new deal running until 2025 last year. However, his current club will still face a battle to keep hold of him amid interest from the Football League.

Their boss Stuart Maynard has struggled for results since taking over from Luke Williams and could do with some reinforcements.

Stockport are top of the table and are closing in on promotion to League Two. Dave Challinor’s men lost in the play-off final to Carlisle United at Wembley on penalties last term but have bounced back from that in style.

As for Barrow, they are looking to go up to the third tier as well under Pete Wild. The Bluebirds are 5th and look set to compete in the play-offs.
