The Bluebirds are sat in 5th place in the table. They have five fixtures left to play this season.

As for Bradford City, they won 1-0 at home to Gillingham last time out. Defender Brad Halliday scored the winner on his 100th appearance for the club.

The Bantams are positioned in 14th and have nothing to play for now. They are eight points off the top seven but there are too many teams above them to make a late charge.

Here, a handful of our writers make their predictions for the game…

Harry Mail

“Barrow have lost their last two games on the spin and need to return to winning ways.

“The Bluebirds are five points inside the play-offs and need to find form again to avoid slipping out of the top seven.

“Bradford make the trip up to Cumbria on the back of three games without defeat. They appear to have found their feet again under Graham Alexander and are eager to end the season on a high.

“It has been an underwhelming campaign for the Bantams and they have a big summer ahead as they look to bolster their ranks. With Barrow needing a result more, I fancy the hosts to sneak a win here.”

Who is this?

James Ray

“This is a tough one to call as these two couldn’t be in much more different positions. Bradford City have nothing to play for really while it’s all still up for grabs with Barrow.

“The hosts can still earn a top three spot if they hit form and win their games in hand but if this losing run persists, they might yet drop from the top seven.

“The pressure gives Barrow more motivation but Bradford, while not having anything to play for, can have a bit more freedom now. It feels like this could go either way, so I’m going to sit on the fence and say this ends level.”
