Olympique de Marseille have garnered a reputation for being a club with high squad turnover, however, this summer transfer window promises to be a particularly busy one at the Vélodrome, according to L’Équipe

There are few players currently at the club that are guaranteed to be there next season. There are players that are certain to leave: the buy options in Joquin Correa’s and Jean Onana’s loan deals will not be activated, whilst Pape Gueye has already rejected contract extension offers and will therefore leave upon the expiry of his current deal.

Then there are the uncertainties. Marseille would like to keep Leonardo Balerdi and have even offered the Argentine a new deal, however, they are aware that, amidst reported interest from Atletico Madrid, he may leave. Chancel Mbemba, Jonathan Clauss, Jordan Veretout and Geoffrey Kondogbia could also depart the club, whilst OM are looking to sell Azzedine Ounahi, who has underwhelmed since making the move from SCO Angers.

Ismaila Sarr, Luis Henrique and Pau Lopez could also all leave if certain conditions are met. Sarr in particular is garnering interest in the English market and, unsatisfied with his lack of consistency, Marseille are keen to sell. Players such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will wait to see what the sporting project resembles at the club before making a decision on their future.
