One 20-year-old defender’s life has completely changed at Liverpool recently according to his international teammate.

This season, Liverpool have undergone a major metamorphosis under Jurgen Klopp. In the summer out went the old and in came the new.

Not just in Liverpool’s midfield, but in the Reds’ defence as well. They may not have been new signings but Jarell Quansah and Conor Bradley have almost felt like it this season.

If Liverpool would have spent around £30m-40m on each of them, nobody would have complained with the way they have performed this season.

Quansah and Bradley have simply been outstanding.

Stuart Dallas on ‘incredible’ Conor Bradley and how his life has changed

Bradley deserves special praise because he has deputised for Trent Alexander-Arnold in a way nobody has been able to since the Liverpool vice captain came into the first team.

At times this season, Bradley has almost made us forget about Alexander-Arnold’s absence. He’s been that good that Liverpool have only very minimally been impacted by Alexander-Arnold’s injury – something which would have been a catastrophe even last season.

It’s a credit to Bradley’s quality and exciting potential. At 20-years-old he seems like he has everything to go very far in the game, and recently his international teammate Stuart Dallas has been signing his praise.

“His life has changed in the past year because he was on loan at Bolton and did really well, now he’s been given his chance at Liverpool and he’s never looked back.” Dallas told the Belfast News Letter.

“He’s probably been one of their best players since coming into the team.

“I’m delighted for Conor because he’s a good lad, and I’m sure when you speak to anybody they all say the same thing that he wants to learn, and working with a manager like he has at Liverpool and the players around him the mentality he brings to the group is incredible.

“I’m so happy for him. He’s obviously had a difficult period over the last few months. He’s done really well and the sky’s the limit for him. He can go on to bigger and better things as well because he has his head screwed on and he’s down to earth as well.”

The latest news on Conor Bradley’s injury

Bradley is sadly injured at the moment after sustaining an injury in Liverpool’s defeat to Crystal Palace.

At the time, it was moot whether Bradley would play against this season with the way he limped off the pitch.

However, the scans have been a lot more positive. According to the latest reports, Bradley could be back to play the final game of the season, which is great news for Liverpool.
