Manchester United could use Mason Greenwood as part of a deal for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, with the Italian side eyeing up the forward.

That's according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say Juventus believe Greenwood 'could become an opportunity' and they're willing to play the Bremer card to get him.

The central defender has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus for months, with numerous reports putting Manchester United at the front of the queue of suitors.

They're seemingly ready to pay big money to get the Brazilian, who they see as the answer to their defensive issues, and they could be handed an opportunity to solve another problem if they do move.

Gazzetta say that Greenwood is on their list of potential offensive additions and Manchester United could use him as part of any move for Bremer to sweeten the deal.

In other words, they could potentially present a lower offer for Bremer and include Greenwood as part of the deal to make it up and tempt Juventus into accepting.

Indeed, it’s even put the other way, with the suggestion Juventus could offer this opportunity.

That would help Manchester United solve two issues with one combined transfer, getting rid of Greenwood and bringing in a key target at the same time.

Whether it would actually be that simple is another matter as Manchester United transfers rarely are, but it is an idea that is now seemingly being formed.
