QPR have fielded four trialists against Hull City’s U21s, with Jack McDowell and Ben Houston of Aston Villa and Stoke City respectively among them.

QPR are among the numerous sides to have taken the chance to cast eyes over a number of potential new additions ahead of the summer transfer window.

Clubs up and down the EFL are making decisions over the futures of their academy prospects. Some will have already been informed of their fate, with the door opening for the departing starlets to head out on trial elsewhere.

The Rs have fielded a number of trialists for their development squad in recent weeks, and more new names have emerged for their Tuesday clash with Hull City U21s.

As announced on the QPR Academy X account, trialists Jake McDowell, Ben Houston, Harry Lee and Kieran Morgan have all started the tie.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Morgan’s trial had previously been confirmed.

McDowell is an 18-year-old defender on the books at Aston Villa, while goalkeeper Houston is with Stoke City as it stands. Lee, another defender, appears to be that of Brighton & Hove Albion, also aged 18.
