Chelsea are keen on signing the Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old Nigerian has established himself as one of the best strikers in European football, and he has 16 goals in all competitions this season.

Chelsea are keen on securing his signature and they are prepared to offer a fee of around €80-90 million. They would also be willing to include Romelu Lukaku and a young player in the deal to satisfy Napoli.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the player as well. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can secure an agreement with Napoli in the coming weeks.

It is no secret that they need to bring in a top-class striker this summer. Nicolas Jackson has not been able to score goals consistently and Chelsea need a reliable finisher in order to do well next season.

Victor Osimhen to Chelsea?

Victor Osimhen would improve Chelsea

Osimhen could transform them in the final third and the opportunity to move to Premier League club will be an attractive one for him. The Nigerian has proven himself in Italian football and he helped Napoli win the league title last season. He will look to take up a new challenge at this stage of his career and move to Chelsea will be quite exciting.

Even though they have struggled in recent seasons, Chelsea remain one of the biggest clubs in the world and they have the financial resources to put together a formidable squad capable of winning trophies consistently.

The transfer seems ideal for all parties and it remains to be seen whether an agreement is secured in the coming weeks. Chelsea have been over dependent on Cole Palmer for goals this season and they will have to address that problem if they want to bounce back strongly.
