Walsall's on-loan Norwich City defender Emmanuel Adegboyega has become the latest player to take to social media and thank the club and its fans for their support during his time in WS1.

Adegboyega, who arrived at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on loan in January scored three goals across fourteen first-team appearances and made a superb impression on fans and officials alike.

Spending the first half of the season with Drogheda United, the 20-year-old more than held his own at League Two level, with plenty of clubs likely to be vying for his services later this summer.

Posting via his official Instagram account, Emmanuel said: "First and foremost, I would like to thank Walsall FC for giving me the opportunity to develop and learn here, enjoyed every minute of it.

"I would also like to thank the supporters for the continuous support for myself and the team throughout the season.

"I'm grateful to have played with a team of fantastic players and under a great staff. I wish yous [SIC] all the best for next season."
