Wolves' Hwang Hee-chan and Toti Gomes give Luton mountain to climb

Another chance gone for Luton. Not for the first time this season, they failed to take their chance to pull themselves clear of the relegation zone. If this was not quite last week's meek surrender, then soft goals conceded to Hwang Hee-chan and Toti Gomes pointed to a team lacking the quality to save itself, even when mounting a late surge after Carlton Morris's goal.

It is to Rob Edwards and his battling squad's credit they have never felt out of the running in the manner of Sheffield United. On the debit side came losing 5-0 last week to previous strugglers Brentford, perhaps the first time Luton had been outfought and their supporters had begun to lose hope. Molineux will have done little to arrest that sinking feeling.
