Sevilla are keen on providing Bryan Gil an escape route from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer window, according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC.

The winger hasn't managed to cement a place at the north London club since joining them from the La Liga side in 2021. After going out on loan in the previous two winter markets, he refused to leave on a temporary deal again in January.

This hasn't worked out for the 23-year-old as he hasn't made an appearance for Tottenham since February.

The Spain international 'has requested' to leave Spurs, and is looking for a permanent transfer as he isn't keen on another loan move.

That doesn't suit the Andalusian club's policy of 'cost containment', which won't allow them to meet the €6-8m fee they believe will requested by Ange Postecoglou's side. That doesn't mean they are giving up on their former player.

It's claimed Sevilla have proposed a new formula to sign Gil on loan with an obligation to buy. In this way, Gil can secure a permanent transfer in 2025 and Tottenham can collect a fee.

This is 'Sevilla’s proposal to Tottenham for Bryan Gil', and there's no mention whether the Premier League side or/and the player have accepted this offer.

Despite his struggles at Tottenham, Sevilla sporting director Víctor Orta is 'convinced that Bryan Gil can explode again' at the Spanish club. He also believes the player could help them collect a return on their investment in the future.

Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese has confirmed that his side are keen on signing Gil, and they are set to provide tough competition to Sevilla in the next window.

Whilst a loan with an obligation to buy looks like it could work, the figures will likely need to be higher than mentioned above.
