Derby County host Leyton Orient in a crucial League One tie on Saturday afternoon, with the Rams looking to break back into the top two.

Derby County sit 2nd in the League One table as it stands. However, Bolton Wanderers can now overtake them if they win their game in hand after the Rams’ 0-0 draw with Wycombe Wanderers during the week.

It means Paul Warne’s side have to be faultless over their remaining three games, starting with this weekend’s clash against Leyton Orient. The Os sit 10th after a thoroughly respectable first season back in the third-tier.

The visitors will have some standout talents in their ranks too, some of whom Derby County will need to keep quiet if they’re to win. Here, we highlight three who could cause problems for the Rams…

Ollie O’Neill

Irish prospect O’Neill has been a big hit with Leyton Orient since joining from Fulham in January. The 21-year-old had impressed for Fulham’s U21s and since his move to Brisbane Road, the youngster has notched five goals and three assists in 15 games.

He managed a goal and an assist in the 2-2 draw with Exeter City last time out so will be full of confidence.

Ethan Galbraith

Versatile former Manchester United man Galbraith is another who has been amongst the goals of late. He netted in back-to-back games against Peterborough United and Cheltenham Town before the Grecians draw.

Galbraith will either be played in midfield or at right-back. He impacts games more when played in his natural midfield role but still gets involved going forward and in possession when part of the back four, so Derby County will have to be wary of him.

Who is this?

Ruel Sotiriou

Last but not least is star attacker Sotiriou. The recent Cyprus debutant has managed the step up to League One with aplomb, operating anywhere across the front three for Wellens and in attacking midfield.

The 23-year-old has 12 goals and five assists across all competitions this season and if Derby County aren’t careful, Sotiriou could definitely add to that and cause problems on Saturday afternoon.
