Leyton Orient contract latest

Leyton Orient have a few players who are out of contract in late June and currently due to become free agents.

Striker Ruel Sotiriou, who has scored 12 goals in all competitions in this campaign, sees his deal expire soon and at the age of 23, it would be a blow to lose him for nothing.

Defenders Tom James and Dan Happe both played a key role the O’s promotion from League Two last year. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be sticking around at Brisbane Road.

Jack Simpson was snapped up on a short-term deal earlier this year and they need to decide whether to keep hold of him for longer. The ex-Cardiff City man made his debut last weekend against Cambridge United.

Other players like Rob Hunt, Theo Archibald and veteran Darren Pratley have also entered their final couple of months. Loan players like Shaq Forde and Sol Brynn are also due to head back.

Leyton Orient’s chances of making the play-offs have faded away which is a shame for them but they have still have a decent term.

The London outfit will be hoping that they can make another push for the top six again next year.

For the time being, they will be focused on heading into the summer in decent form and they beat Cambridge 3-1 last time out.

The O’s are back in action tonight with an away trip to Exeter City.
