The winners of Watford FC's End of Season Awards were revealed around the Sky Bet Championship clash with Sunderland at Vicarage Road (Saturday April 27), the last home game of the 2023/24 campaign.

Find out who won what below...

Graham Taylor Player of the Season: Wesley Hoedt

Dutch centre-back Wesley Hoedt joins the list of names who have the honour of winning the Graham Taylor Player of the Season award, as voted for by Watford supporters.

The 30-year-old on-field playing captain has excelled with a number of commanding displays in the Hornets back four, in what has been his first full season at Vicarage Road since his switch from Anderlecht in January 2023.

Hoedt made it his ambition to play every minute of the season for the Golden Boys, and was on course to achieve this aim before his booking against Coventry City in March which led to a suspension.

Left-footer Hoedt regularly impresses with his vision to pick out team-mates and his exceptional range of passing, as well as always providing leadership and communication at the back.

He scored in the 3-2 defeat against Middlesbrough in September and grabbed his second of the season in the 2-1 victory at Hull City in December, more on which can be found below...

The Graham Taylor Player of the Season award was presented to Hoedt by Head Coach Tom Cleverley.

Yáser Asprilla finished second in the supporters' vote and Edo Kayembe was third.

Goal of the Season: Wesley Hoedt

Wesley Hoedt made it an awards double after collecting the Goal of the Season accolade for his long-range wonderstrike away at Hull City.

The Dutchman scored the winner in a 2-1 victory at the MKM Stadium on December 2 with a sublime 74th-minute lob, which came out on top in the supporters' vote.

Hoedt dispossessed Liam Delap and, after spotting that keeper Ryan Allsop was off his line, audaciously drove the ball over him from around 40 yards.

The defender barely took any time between winning the ball and executing the finish, pulling off a special strike from close to the halfway line which will be remembered at Vicarage Road for seasons to come.

Describing his goal, Hoedt said: "I saw their striker was receiving the ball from deep, and he didn't control it that well so I thought I could intercept it. Then I saw their goalie off his line, so I thought why not?"

The Goal of the Season trophy was presented on the pitch by Watford legend Lloyd Doyley.

Yáser Asprilla finished second in the vote with his long-range thunderbolt away at Norwich City.

The first of Jake Livermore's goals at QPR finished third.

Young Player of the Season: Yáser Asprilla

Colombian winger Yáser Asprilla has been named as the Young Player of the Season after a standout campaign.

The 20-year-old has often dazzled with his pace, skills and trickery, as well as his natural ability to beat his man.

After one goal in his first full season with the Hornets, Asprilla has kicked on this term with six, including the winners against Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City before the end of last year.

His goal in the 4-2 defeat at Norwich in February will be remembered for years to come. The Colombian found the top corner with an incredible long-ranged effort which hit the net after striking the woodwork.

Asprilla backed up the goal by scoring the winner against Rotherham United in his next game, thanks to another thumping finish.

As well as his goals, Asprilla tops the assists charts for the Hornets in the Championship with seven.

The Young Player of the Season award was presented following the game by former Hornet Tommy Smith.

Supporter of the Season: Sarah Priestley

This year's winner of Supporter of the Year is Sarah Priestley.

Priestley is a Season Ticket holder who has worked at the Watford Museum since 1998, putting on numerous memorable exhibitions relating to Watford Football Club over the past 26 years, including one to celebrate 100 years at Vicarage Road back in 2022.

She's also a tireless and valued volunteer for the Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust, winning the Trust Champion award last year.

Watford legend Troy Deeney presented Sarah with her award.
