Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton are in the picture to sign Genoa's Koni De Winter in the summer, according to today's Tuttosport.

Last summer, the Serie A side took the defender from Juventus on loan with an obligation to buy if certain set conditions are met. This is likely to be fulfilled and the Old Lady will receive €8m from his sale.

De Winter has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season and his form has seen both Wolves and Everton take notice.

On March 22nd, TuttoMercatoWeb said Gary O’Neil's side have been scouting the centre-back for several weeks. A week later, the same website reported Everton are also keen on signing the Belgium international, who can also operate as a right-back.

Taking the versatile defender's form into account, Tuttosport state it's 'no mystery' that Wolves and the Toffees are looking at him.

Even though De Winter's stay at Genoa is set to be made permanent soon, he could still leave them in the next transfer window. It's claimed the Italian club can sell him if there's an 'important offer', without mentioning any figures in the report.

In short, Wolves and Everton's proposals must convince Genoa, if they wish to sign the Belgian.
