Barrow and Bradford City meet on Tuesday night in a potentially huge game in the League Two play-off fight.

Barrow come into this midweek clash with Bradford City desperately looking to improve their form and hold onto a place in the League Two play-offs.

The Bluebirds are winless in five and have lost four of those, leaving them slipping into the grasps of the chasing pack. They sit 6th in the table and just a point ahead of Doncaster Rovers in 8th after Grant McCann’s side defeated them 4-2 at the weekend.

Pete Wild has worked admirably to get Barrow into this position again but falling short now would be gut-wrenching.

Bradford City meanwhile have persisted with their hot and cold form under Graham Alexander.

After a run of four straight defeats looked to have ended their hopes of a late charge for the top seven, the Bantams have gone unbeaten in five. They’ve won four of those to move four points off the play-offs with two left to play.

Their late bid could be ended here, but three points will put them within touching distance of the play-offs after a 3-2 win over Walsall at the weekend.

“Bradford City have shown how streaky they can be this season but at the perfect time, they’ve found their feet and put a run together. It might just earn them a play-off spot, and maybe at Barrow’s expense.

“This is bound to be a tense game but I think the result here means it goes down to the final day.

“I’ll say Bradford claim a narrow 2-1 win on the road.”
